The Parker House Inn

 

The Parker House Inn is a 100 year old house on the corner of Huckabee St. & 3rd Ave. in McRae, GA. Owned & occupied by members of the Parker Family for more than 70 years, the Parker House was bought in 1998 by Aubry & Katie Stone & converted into the present inn.

 

The Parker House Inn is furnished throughout with antiques & fine reproductions. Period pieces such as dolls, baby shoes, jewelery, a Victrola & more are subtlety displayed. Restored original wooded floors, cornice molding, bead-board ceilings, ceiling medallions & stately fireplaces are just a few of the historical details to be enjoyed in this fine home.

 

There are 6 guest rooms named for a member of the Parker Family; Corrine, Orpha, Victor, Norrine, Norma & Carolyn. All rooms feature an en suite bathroom, some with the original sink & bathtub. Guest rooms are tastefully decorated with loving attention to style & authenticity.

 

There is a canopy-covered back porch & gazebo. The yard is a myriad of flowering shrubs & plants. The front porch swing is perfect for relaxing.

 

The Parker House Inn is the perfect venue for special occasions. Guest rooms are available for overnight or a week long stay.
